Coast Water Services Board and Water Services Providers - Financial Management Systems Implementation
Project Mandate
Assist CWSB recover colossal amounts owed by six water services providers through implementing proper financial management systems and capacity building.
Scope of Work
Trained financial staff in IFRS and IPSAS, developed accounting and financial policies manuals, assisted in FMIS procurement, reconciled debts, developed credit policies, and prepared budgets.
Project Outcome
Successfully implemented proper financial management structures and best practices across CWSB and all six WSPs. Substantially recovered colossal amounts owed by water service providers.
Project Overview
US$260,000 World Bank-financed consultancy (Period 2015) to review and implement financial management systems for Coast Water Services Board and its six Water Services Providers.
